Dear Elizabethtown Neighbors & Friends,

We are blessed to live in a community where neighbors care about each other. We are also fortunate to live in a community where most of us have plenty; we do not want for food, shelter or clothing. However, that is not true for everyone in our town.

The time is right to address these problems! There has been a growing dream among several entities in Elizabethtown to have a social services building in our community. This will allow people to get the help they need efficiently and effectively. The United Churches Elizabethtown Area (UCEA) has agreed to become the owner and lead agency in purchasing a building where social service providers and agencies will be centralized. We have found a suitable property for sale on East Washington Street.

Much time and effort has already been dedicated to this project. A portion of the money needed has already been raised and donated by the UCEA. Many community members have donated their time, talents, skills, and energies to planning this undertaking. They are dedicated to the vision of a better Elizabethtown for everyone.

We are asking you, the community members of Elizabethtown, to come together and support this initiative in any way(s) you are able as we embark on a $1.8 million fundraising campaign.

We hope you will join us in this endeavor!
