Our Core Values

  • To abide by the principle Christ taught us, to love others as much as we love ourselves.

  • We believe that we are all made stronger when we help each other.

  • Our role as Christian churches is to support individuals in need to succeed in life. We do this by valuing and appreciating everyone who comes into our community because we are all children of god.

  • We believe that we all have the ability and responsibility to lead ethical and caring lives that aspire to support the greater good in our community.

  • We believe that everyone deserves a chance at a self-sufficient, productive, and meaningful life.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the management of the affairs and property of UCEA. They are voted in by the Delegate Council, which is composed of delegates who are parishioners of local churches. Delegates are responsible for the vision and goals of UCEA and for approving the annual budget. Persons interested in becoming a delegate should complete the volunteer form.

We are often asked how we (a group of churches from many backgrounds and denominations) do what we do - we have this “letter to the community” that clarifies our common goal of providing for our community.
